Sound Healing is as old as humans living together in tribes.

We began singing or banging drums to banish evil spirits and heal each other. You could choose almost any culture and trace a sound healing through the early days of medicine and music into states of enlightenment. Therefore, the sound bath borrows instruments from all over the world and different cultures

A sound bath is an immersive experience where one is bathed in waves of different vibrations from instruments from Nepal, shamanic rattles from Peru, traditional buffalo drums from North America and more.

The waves of sound will wash over you guiding you into a deeper state of meditation where true neuroplasticity is possible.

As a Sound Healer

Giving a sound bath is the culmination of a healing musical apprenticeship which taught me the theory behind the magic and honed my ability to play this multitude of instruments. As a sound healer, I will begin with 7 instruments laid before me but play only those called by the energy of the room during our session. I will get up and move around to shift and disperse energy.

I’m Paola Snow, and I’ve been grieving for as long as I can remember.

My twin brother Matteo’s childhood death began my journey through the underworlds of death and grief, eventually leading me to study around the world with somatic teachers and grief therapists, become an acclaimed photographer, go from free spirited wild herb forager to certified Master Herbalist, and help hundreds of family navigate the end of life as their death doula…

WHAT IS A Death Doula?

A guide for the dying & a companion for the grieving who carries the wisdom of our ancestors and provides families with options.

A death doula provides compassionate, non-medical support at the end of life - holding space for the dying, tending to grief, and helping families navigate this sacred transition with care and intention. Whether through emotional support, legacy work, 11th-hour support, guiding the family in body care, or leading ritual, a death doula ensures that no one has to walk this path alone.
